Families reach this site at the worst moment of their lives, often on a telephone, often at night, sometimes with failing eyesight or a screen reader. Simple Affordable Cremations is committed to keeping it usable for all of them.
This site targets WCAG 2.1 Level AA. In practice that means semantic headings in order, visible focus outlines on every interactive element, form labels tied to their fields, text that meets contrast requirements against its background, and alternative text on images.
Every tap target is at least 44 by 44 pixels, form fields use a 16 pixel font so phones do not zoom unexpectedly, and the whole site works at 400 pixels wide and at 200 percent browser zoom without horizontal scrolling.
The site works with JavaScript disabled, apart from the contact form, which tells you so and gives you the telephone number and email address instead.
Animation is limited, and what exists is disabled automatically for anyone whose device asks for reduced motion.
The Google Maps panel on the contact page is a third-party embed whose accessibility we do not control. The full address is given as selectable text directly above it, and it links to your own maps application, so nothing is only available inside the map.
