Straightforward pricing
Our direct cremation service fee is $1,095, and it is the same in every county we serve. Three things sit outside it, and we would rather you read them here than discover them later: certified copies of the death certificate at the county rate, the alternative cremation container Florida law requires, and a medical examiner fee that some counties charge. All three are listed below and all three appear on your written price before you authorize anything.
Call (239) 207-0390A traditional funeral carries costs that a direct cremation simply does not have: a casket, embalming and cosmetic preparation, the use of a viewing room and a chapel, staff and vehicles for a procession, and a cemetery plot with its opening, closing and monument. Each of those is a real expense, and together they are why a full funeral commonly runs several times what a direct cremation does.
Direct cremation removes all of them. What is left is the part that has to happen regardless: bringing your loved one into care, sheltering them lawfully, filing the paperwork, the cremation itself, and returning the cremated remains to the family.
That does not mean going without a funeral. It means the ceremony is separated from the cremation, so your family can hold it at a church, a graveside, a home or a favourite place, whenever everyone can gather, without paying a funeral home for a room.

Separately, there are things we simply do not sell: an urn or keepsake beyond the temporary container included with every arrangement, any cemetery, columbarium or scattering charge at a final resting place, and a memorial service, which we are happy to refer you for. Everything that applies to your case is itemized on your written price before you authorize anything.
No casket, no. Florida law does require a rigid, combustible alternative container for the cremation itself, and that container is charged separately from our service fee rather than included in it. We tell you its cost on your written price, and it is a fraction of what a casket costs. Embalming is not required for a direct cremation at all; refrigeration serves the purpose and is included. If you are told a casket or embalming is legally required for a cremation with no viewing, that is not correct, and it is worth asking why it was said.
We suggest ordering between six and ten certified original copies. Most agencies will accept a photocopy, and where they do we recommend giving them one and keeping your certified originals in reserve. Some institutions, typically banks, life insurers, pension administrators and anything involving a property or vehicle title, will insist on a certified original and will not return it. We order the copies at the time of filing rather than making you go back to the county health department later, and more can be requested at any time.
